Three great sentences

1)  Tomorrow my mum and dad are going to tropical  Rarotonga for a party.

2) At Christmas my cousin Jake got up to some mischief and ate chocolate  in bed.

3) I like standing on the podium, it makes me feel proud of myself.

Why I like these 3 sentences that I have written:

I think I have used  great  adjectives and they make sense.
