Week 9 FINAL WEEK of Challenge Homework

Woo hoo!  The last of the Challenge Homework was presented today in Room 6.  We encouraged tamariki to spread the challenges out over the term and produce quality challenges rather than a last minute attempt.  This teaches children important time management skills and it was wonderful to see so many who were able to do this.  A big thank you to whanau who have supported, encouraged and helped with these challenges.  Next week those who completed their 4 challenges will recieve a special treat for going the extra mile!  Ka pai everyone :)
Suction magic using water, coins, a match and a jar.  Wow!
A science experiment to grow salt crystals. Incredible results!
Lots of healthy eating ideas here.
A clever camouflaged hermit crab ( and a snake too).
Ever wondered how to make sherbet?  We found out how and even got to try some...
Camouflaged lizard hidden in the grass.
A homemade paper mache volcano that came to life with some baking soda and vinegar.  Awesome!
